Herend, set of porcelain plates

"Queen Victoria" decoration, painted with green rim and outlined in gold, marked under the bottom. Composed by 24 flat plates, 12 soup plates, 12 fruit plates, a soup tureen, an oval dish, 2 circular bowls with different sizes and shapes, two oval raviers of different musures, a sauce boat, a salt cellar, a triangular plate , 12 coffee cups with saucers and a sugar bowl. The "Queen Victoria" service introdiced for the first time at London's "First World Exhibition" in 1851 was purchased by Queen Victoria of England and subsequently named after her. Oriental style decoration, consisting of butterflies and flower branches, and of which there are many versions with different colors and gold, with smaller and larger scattered flowers, is undoubtedly the most popular and beloved of Herend production
