Jan Frans van Bloemen, called l'Orizzonte, and Placido Costanzi

"Roman countryside with classical figures", oil on canvas. This painting is comparable to other paintings of Van Bloemen from the end of 1730 when he worked together with Placido Costanzi. The collaboration of those two artists begins with the "Arcadian scenes with view on Rome" from 1736, Galleria Nazionale dell'Accademia di San Luca in Rome, and continues, after Busiri Vici, at least until 1744.
