circular scagliola top depicting a composition of fruit, flowers and butterflies in the centre, surrounded by four city views depicting Venice, Florence, Naples and Monte San Pellegrino in Palermo alternated with representations of village costumes; baluster-shaped shaft on four legs moved to form large volutes; bears the label "Pierre Della Valle & freres" on the back of the top.
